They are a convenient size, and can normally take all of the waste generated in small DIY jobs. These are also sized so they can fit up most driveways, negating the need for a permit to leave larger skips on the road.

Items that are permitted in a skip include:

  • Wood

Items that are NOT permitted in a skip include:

Plasterboard is also prohibited from skips with mixed waste. If you will be disposing if plasterboard, plasterboard bags are required  to ensure your plasterboard is kept separate from your other waste.
